We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Resuscitation Practitioner to join our team at East and North Herts NHS Trust. As a key member of our Resuscitation Service, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and improvement of our clinical services.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with the Resuscitation Service team to standardize and develop the service, ensuring it meets the needs of East and North Herts NHS Trust staff.
- Participate in the planning, delivery, organization, and evaluation of training programs delivered by the department.
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the resuscitation service delivery with other members of the team.
- Provide training for the general public in adult and pediatric life support when required.
- Respond to calls for deteriorating patients and cardiac arrests, supported by Senior Resuscitation Practitioner.

Requirements- Professional clinical qualification (RN, ODP, or Paramedic) with relevant post-basic qualification (ENB 100/998/124).
- RCUK ALS or EPALS provider Certificate and Generic Instructor Course Qualification (Resuscitation Council [UK]) or nomination of GIC instructor potential.
- ALS or EPALS Instructor/Instructor candidate/Instructor potential and willingness to study and achieve further RCUK provider/instructor course certificates.
- Band 5 experience in Acute care area (ED, CCU, Acute assessment, or Theatres) and experience of working in a multiprofessional clinical environment.
- Mentoring and clinical teaching experience.
