Resuscitation Practitioner

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Resuscitation Practitioner to join our Resuscitation Service team at East and North Herts NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and delivery of our resuscitation service, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Resuscitation Service team to develop and implement training programs for clinical staff.
• Participate in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of training programs.
• Manage the day-to-day operation of the resuscitation service delivery.
• Provide training for the general public in adult and pediatric life support.
• Respond to calls for deteriorating patients and cardiac arrests, supported by Senior Resuscitation Practitioner.

Requirements

• Professional clinical qualification (RN, ODP, or Paramedic).
• Relevant post-basic qualification (ENB 100/998/124).
• RCUK ALS or EPALS provider Certificate.
• Generic Instructor Course Qualification (Resuscitation Council [UK]) or nomination of GIC instructor potential.
• ALS or EPALS Instructor/Instructor candidate/Instructor potential.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

• NLS instructor.
• ALS instructor.
• EPALS instructor.
• EPALS or APLS Provider Certificate.
• Competence in administration of First Line Drugs.
• ALERT Provider Certificate.
• ILS instructor.
