Business Development Manager

Gleeson Recruitment Group is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to drive sales growth and expand our customer base in the renewable energy sector.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute individual with a successful track record in sales, business development, and/or account management roles. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and nurturing relationships with new and existing customers to maximise sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet customer acquisition and revenue targets
- Develop and own a sales plan to target and grow your accounts to support the achievement of your annual sales goals
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and client meetings to showcase our products and services
- Prepare sales KPI reports and forecasts for use in organisational planning and financial forecasting
Requirements:
- Commercially astute with a successful career in sales, business development, and/or account management roles
- A confident communicator with the ability to present complex information in clear, plain-spoken terms
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Experience of using CRM software to enhance sales performance
- Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work independently to manage multiple projects and changing priorities effectively
