Job Title: Cloud Migration Sales Consultant

The Cloud Migration Sales Consultant position is integral to the AWS World Wide Public Sector Organization, concentrating on enhancing sales efforts within UK Public Sector clientele. As a dedicated member of the sales team, you will work closely with key clients, account representatives, and technical specialists to identify and pursue opportunities related to enterprise application workloads and data center transition initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with significant UK Public Sector clients to explore sales prospects for transitioning Microsoft workloads to AWS
  • Collaborate with solution architects to address the technical dimensions of migrations
  • Partner with account managers, solutions architects, and external partners to navigate complex sales opportunities to successful closure
  • Concentrate on the migration of Windows Server infrastructure, SQL Server, Exchange, SharePoint, or line-of-business applications to the AWS cloud
  • Take ownership of sales objectives and platform adoption within UK Public Sector accounts
  • Develop public references showcasing successful migration projects

About the Team:

The UK Public Sector Specialist Organization consists of sales professionals and solution architects with expertise across various domains, including AI/ML, Analytics, Data Management, Security, and End-User Computing. The team's goal is to broaden customer engagement with AWS services while sharing knowledge with field teams and partners.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales with accountability for quotas
  • Experience collaborating with enterprise clients in the technology industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Licensing and cloud computing technologies
  • 5+ years of experience in selling database, data center, and cloud solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in selling Windows Server, SQL Server, or Azure
  • Expertise in data center migration processes
  • Familiarity with Public Sector organizations
  • Strong skills in organization, presentation, and written communication
