Job Title: Cloud Solutions Sales Consultant for Microsoft Migrations

The Cloud Solutions Sales Consultant for Microsoft Migrations is a pivotal role within the AWS World Wide Public Sector Organization, dedicated to enhancing sales efforts across public sector clients in the UK. As a key member of the sales team, you will work closely with major clients, account representatives, and technical specialists to identify and pursue opportunities related to enterprise application workloads and data center transitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with significant public sector clients in the UK to explore sales opportunities for transitioning Microsoft workloads to AWS.
  • Collaborate with technical architects on the migration's technical components.
  • Partner with account managers, solution architects, and external partners to navigate complex sales opportunities to successful completion.
  • Concentrate on migrating Windows Server infrastructure, SQL Server, Exchange, SharePoint, or line-of-business applications to the AWS cloud environment.
  • Be accountable for achieving sales objectives and promoting platform adoption within public sector accounts.
  • Develop public case studies highlighting successful migration projects.

About the Team:

The UK Public Sector Specialist Organization consists of sales professionals and solution architects with expertise in various fields, including AI/ML, Analytics, Data Management, Security, and End-User Computing. The team's objective is to broaden customer engagement with AWS services and share knowledge with field teams and partners.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise sales with a focus on meeting sales targets.
  • Experience collaborating with enterprise clients in the technology sector.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Licensing and cloud computing technologies.
  • At least 5 years of experience in selling database, data center, and cloud solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in selling Windows Server, SQL Server, or Azure services.
  • Expertise in data center migration processes.
  • Experience working with public sector organizations.
  • Strong skills in organization, presentation, and written communication.
