About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Cloud Migration Sales Specialist to join our team at AWS EMEA SARL (UK Branch). As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving sales across UK Public Sector customers and working closely with our strategic partners to identify and pursue new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with large strategic WWPS customers and their existing account teams to qualify and pursue sales opportunities for enterprise application workloads and data center migration projects.
  • Engage with UK PS segment account managers, solutions architects, partner and professional services organizations to drive large and complex opportunities to closure.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive platform adoption within UKPS accounts and create public references.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
About the Team

The UKPS Specialist Organisation is a team of specialist sales and solution architects who bring deep domain expertise in areas like cloud migration, data analytics, and security. Our team's mission is to extend our customer's use of AWS offerings from utility compute to higher order services, and to help drive the growth and adoption of cloud-based solutions in the UK Public Sector.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of enterprise sales or business development experience with quota accountability and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets year over year.
  • Experience in working directly with enterprise customers and partners in the technology space, with a focus on cloud migration and data center technologies.
  • Fluency with Microsoft Licensing, including License Mobility and Volume Licensing (such as Enterprise Agreements).
  • 5+ years of experience selling complex database, data center and cloud technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience selling Windows Server, SQL Server or Azure.
  • Experience with data center migrations.
  • Experience in working with Public Sector organizations.
  • Exceptional organizational, presentation, and writing skills.
