Guidewire Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Guidewire Developer to join our team at Hastings Direct. As a Guidewire Developer, you will play a key role in the development and maintenance of our insurance software systems, ensuring they are efficient, effective, and meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and test software applications using Guidewire Insurance Suite
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software requirements
- Develop and maintain high-quality software code, following industry best practices and standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, working closely with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve software quality and maintainability
- Proven experience in software development using Guidewire Insurance Suite
- Strong understanding of software development principles, including design patterns and architecture
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex software issues
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems
