About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Amazon UK Services Ltd. as an Area Manager Delivery Ops. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a large and diverse team to ensure the smooth operation of our delivery services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote a culture of safety and wellbeing within the team
  • Analyze and implement corrective actions to maintain high quality and productivity levels
  • Support and lead a team, handling administrative work and building a strong team culture
  • Analyze performance and suggest process improvements to optimize work and improve customer service
  • Collaborate with other managers to standardize shift processes
A Day in the Life

You will work shifts and be based at one of our operational sites. Your main focus will be to maintain safety standards within your team and across your site. You will also monitor and maintain process efficiency, prioritizing routine team management and daily operational tasks.

Working with the Operations Team

As a key part of the operations team, you will work with colleagues in other teams and external partners to ensure we meet our customer demands and targets. This will involve analyzing data and performance metrics with leaders in your business area, as well as discussing operational pros and cons of technical improvements with engineers.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (or working towards a bachelor's degree)
  • Advanced proficiency in written and verbal English and local language
  • Relevant experience in performing data analysis
Preferred Qualifications

While not required, experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership, is preferred. Additionally, experience in a logistical working environment and working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment is desirable.
