Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Workshop Operations Manager to join our team at Volvo Group. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our workshop, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our team is working efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of technicians and support staff to ensure that all work is completed to the highest standard and on time.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve workshop efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure that all customer interactions are handled professionally and that customer satisfaction is consistently high.
- Manage and control workshop budgets and resources to ensure that costs are minimized and that the workshop is operating within budget.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all aspects of the business are working together effectively.
- Identify and implement opportunities for improvement and implement changes to processes and procedures as needed.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers to ensure that our business is operating effectively and efficiently.
- Manage and maintain accurate records and reports to ensure that the workshop is operating within regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement opportunities for improvement.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
