Job Title: Domestic Transport Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Domestic Transport Manager to join our team at Prax. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and compliant operation of our domestic transport fleet, as well as providing leadership and direction to the transport team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Transport Operations: Ensure the safe and compliant operation of our domestic transport fleet, including the management of drivers, vehicles, and routes.
  2. Leadership and Direction: Provide leadership and direction to the transport team, including the management of HR processes, incident investigations, and driver training.
  3. Logistics and Planning: Develop and implement effective logistics and planning strategies to ensure the efficient operation of our domestic transport fleet.
  4. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, and identify and mitigate risks associated with transport operations.
  5. Communication and Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including drivers, customers, and other teams within Prax.
Requirements:
  1. Experience: In-depth experience in all aspects of road transport, including fuel transport and logistics management.
  2. Leadership and Management: Demonstrable leadership skills and experience, including the management of HR processes and incident investigations.
  3. Logistics and Planning: Strong logistics and planning skills, including the ability to develop and implement effective strategies.
  4. Compliance and Risk Management: Strong understanding of relevant regulations and laws, and the ability to identify and mitigate risks associated with transport operations.
  5. Communication and Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and other teams within Prax.
