Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Software Solutions Developer to join our English Subsidiary. In this role, you will design, develop, and test software applications for the HVAC/R market using CAREL programmable controls (PLC) and supervisory systems. Your work will contribute to delivering high-efficiency, connected, and sustainable solutions for cooling, heating, and ventilation across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test software applications to program CAREL controllers, ensuring they meet customer requirements and market expectations.
  • Collaborate on projects throughout all phases, from conception and feasibility analysis to development, testing, and final project delivery. Embrace a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Define detailed specifications and technical designs for software solutions.
  • Provide customer support by offering training and assistance on programming tools used for application software maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related technical field.
  • Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming languages such as ST, ladder logic, and FBD.
  • Knowledge of communication protocols including Modbus RTU, Modbus Ethernet, BACnet, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, DeviceNet, and ControlNet.
  • Ability to develop software using ST, Java, Javascript, Python, and C++.
  • Experience in developing web applications (HTML, Javascript).
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical specifications.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot software issues and debug large codebases.
  • Excellent documentation skills for requirements and specifications.
  • Familiarity with thermodynamics or HVAC/R applications is a plus.
  • Strong English language proficiency for effective communication within global teams.
