Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Junior Software Solutions Developer to join our English Subsidiary in Chessington. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing applications for the HVAC/R market using CAREL programmable controls (PLC) and supervisory systems.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design and Develop Software: Create software to program CAREL controllers, meeting customer and market expectations.
  • Project Work: Collaborate on projects from conception to feasibility analysis, development, testing, and completion, driving innovation throughout the process.
  • Define Specifications and Technical Design: Develop detailed specifications and technical designs for software applications.
  • Customer Support: Provide support to customers on programming tools for application software maintenance and training.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related technical field.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in ST, Java, JavaScript, Python, C++, and web application development (HTML, JavaScript).
  • Communication Protocols: Knowledge of Modbus RTU, Modbus Ethernet, Bacnet, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, DeviceNet, ControlNet, etc.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent teamwork, enthusiasm, hands-on approach, project management skills, and good communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Thermodynamics or HVAC/R Applications: Familiarity with thermodynamics or HVAC/R applications is preferred.
  • Language Skills: Good English proficiency is required to work with our global teams.
