Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Junior Software Solutions Developer to join our English Subsidiary in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing applications for the HVAC/R market using CAREL programmable controls (PLC) and supervisory systems.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design and Develop Software: Create software to program CAREL controllers, meeting customer and market expectations.
  • Project Work: Collaborate on projects from conception to feasibility analysis, development, testing, and completion, driving innovation throughout the process.
  • Define Specifications and Technical Design: Develop detailed specifications and technical designs for software applications.
  • Customer Support: Provide support to customers on programming tools for application software maintenance and training.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related technical field.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as ST, Java, JavaScript, Python, and C++.
  • Communication Protocols: Knowledge of communication protocols including Modbus RTU, Modbus Ethernet, Bacnet, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, DeviceNet, ControlNet, etc.
  • Web Development: Ability to develop web applications using HTML, JavaScript.
  • Electrical Schematics: Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical specifications.
  • Troubleshooting: Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues and debugging large codebases.
  • Documentation: Ability to document requirements and specifications.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge or experience in thermodynamics or HVAC/R applications, good English proficiency, and a team-oriented approach.
