This role involves working as a Lab Technician within a prominent organization in the Clinical Research sector, located in Livingston. The position is offered on a contractual basis for an initial period of 6 months.

Our client is a leading global Contract Research Organization (CRO) dedicated to advancing healthcare and enhancing patient outcomes.
Compensation:

Work Location:
This Lab Technician position is situated on-site in Livingston, West Lothian.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and document analytical processes in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory standards.
- Conduct routine data evaluations to ensure analytical methods are performing as expected and results fall within acceptable limits.
- Prepare analytical results for integration into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) under the supervision of senior personnel.
- Support quality investigations, deviations, and their resolution.
- Assist in the review and enhancement of laboratory protocols and methodologies.
- Perform and document calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments as assigned.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or a comparable combination of education and experience (Some laboratory settings may necessitate a BSc in a relevant scientific discipline).
- Prior experience in a regulated laboratory setting.
- Competence in performing both routine and some advanced laboratory calculations related to samples and batches, including averages, means, standard deviations, and various quality control metrics.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
