Position Overview: Helm Specialist Recruitment is seeking a qualified individual for the role of Technical Superintendent. This position will report directly to the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the technical operations and management of assigned vessels.
  • Ensure the daily operations are conducted safely and efficiently, adhering to all regulatory and contractual obligations.
  • Implement the company's safety management system, policies, and procedures.

Location: The role will be based in the office.

Qualifications:

  • A valid Class 1 or 2 Certificate of Competency (COC) is required, along with adequate sailing experience on conventional vessels, or a maritime degree/diploma.
  • Experience as a Naval Officer in the British Navy is considered an asset.
  • Ideal candidates will possess 2-3 years of shore-based experience as a Technical Superintendent, specifically in managing vessels for a shipowner or ship management firm.

Eligibility: Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
