About the Role

Located in a dynamic office environment, the selected professional will join a dedicated team of five, focusing on client relations and support across various regions. This team collaborates closely with the Investor Relations unit, which consists of five members providing global outreach.

The ideal candidate will integrate into a cohesive unit that supports sales initiatives alongside a variety of other functions, including portfolio management, legal compliance, risk assessment, and trade operations. We seek an individual who is well-versed in the responsibilities of this role and can contribute effectively from day one. A successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced setting, demonstrating a client-focused approach in all tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive reports on portfolio, fund, and organizational performance to investors, auditors, potential clients, regulatory bodies, and other external parties.
  • Serve as the primary contact for Requests for Proposals (RfPs) and Requests for Information (RfIs), coordinating relevant information from internal experts across various departments, including risk management, trading, legal, compliance, fund accounting, and senior management.
  • Act as the main liaison with the Investor Services team to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Review, validate, and standardize monthly commentary from the investment team, ensuring accuracy and relevance in fund performance and risk metrics.
  • Manage and report on daily and monthly investor capital activities, collaborating with fund administrators to maintain the integrity of trade flow and booking processes.
  • Work in conjunction with the sales team to develop strategies for client engagement, respond to inquiries, and provide comprehensive client support throughout the client lifecycle.
  • Coordinate and facilitate investor due diligence meetings, preparing necessary materials in advance and following up on action items post-meeting.
  • Update and maintain marketing materials for funds and the organization, including monthly presentations and periodic reviews of due diligence questionnaires.
  • Collaborate with the technology team on initiatives aimed at automating reports, enhancing processes, and developing dashboards to improve operational efficiency.

Educational & Professional Qualifications

  • A degree from a recognized university or equivalent qualification.
  • Professional certifications such as IMC, CAIA, CFA, or equivalent accounting qualifications are advantageous.

Experience, Knowledge, and Skills

  • Exceptional communication abilities, capable of engaging with colleagues and clients at all levels.
  • Solid understanding of performance and risk metrics (e.g., NAV, VAR, performance since inception).
  • Familiarity with client relationship management and reporting systems; experience with Backstop Solutions CRM is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Advanced proficiency in IT, particularly with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Power BI.
