Position Overview:
As the Regional Commercial and Program Controller, you will be stationed at our Centre of Excellence in Hemel Hempstead. Your primary responsibility will be to supervise the sales forecasting processes, including Order Intake, Revenue, and Margin, while managing all program accounting for the NW Europe region, which encompasses the UK, Ireland, and Israel. You will ensure that various forecasts are aligned and updated with the latest commercial insights, while also guaranteeing accurate revenue recognition in compliance with IFRS15.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the ongoing maintenance of a rolling monthly Market Review forecast for Order Intake and Revenue in the NW Europe market.
- Stay informed about developments in Programs, Sales, and Operations to ensure forecasts and accounting are accurately updated.
- Address IFRS15-related issues concerning Programs to maintain forecast precision.
- Prepare financial models to support bids and tenders for programs.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies related to program accounting and bids and tenders.
- Lead the Revenue and Order Intake processes for the annual Budget and Strategic Planning.
- Monitor and enhance the accuracy of SAP data, ensuring timely program invoicing.
- Manage a team dedicated to delivering the above responsibilities.
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of IFRS standards, particularly IFRS15 accounting for programs.
- Experience in commercial sales forecasting and analysis.
- Proficient in MS Office/Excel, SAP, and management information systems.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP program accounting.
- Foreign language skills, especially in Hebrew, are a plus.
