Position Overview:
As the Regional Commercial and Program Controller, you will be stationed at our Centre of Excellence in Hemel Hempstead. Your primary responsibility will be to manage sales forecasting processes (Order Intake, Revenue & Margin) and oversee all program accounting for the NW Europe region, which includes the UK, Ireland, and Israel. You will play a crucial role in aligning and updating various forecasts with the latest commercial insights while ensuring accurate revenue recognition in compliance with IFRS15.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a dynamic monthly Market Review forecast for Order Intake and Revenue in the NW Europe market.
- Keep abreast of developments in Programs, Sales & Operations to ensure forecasts and accounting reflect current information.
- Address IFRS15 issues related to Programs to enhance forecast accuracy.
- Develop financial models to support bids and tenders for programs.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies concerning program accounting and bids & tenders.
- Lead the Revenue and Order Intake process for the annual Budget & Strategic Planning.
- Monitor and enhance SAP data accuracy, ensuring timely program invoicing.
- Supervise a team dedicated to achieving these objectives.
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of IFRS standards, particularly IFRS15 accounting for programs.
- Proven experience in commercial sales forecasting and analysis.
- Proficient in MS Office/Excel, SAP, and management information systems.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP program accounting.
- Foreign language skills, especially in Hebrew, are a plus.
