Overview:
M/LK Education Search is collaborating with a highly regarded Independent Special School seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic ABA Class Lead and ABA Supervisor.
This institution is committed to providing an inclusive educational environment for children with Autism, catering to ages 5 to 16, and operates across multiple locations.
Each student benefits from a tailored educational plan that emphasizes a pupil-centered, multi-disciplinary approach to enhance communication skills and foster independence.
This role presents a unique opportunity for a passionate ABA specialist to join a distinguished institution, working alongside a supportive leadership team to expand and enhance the services currently offered to children from various local authorities.
The ABA Class Lead will oversee a team of 6 ABA Tutors while managing a classroom of 6 students. The ABA Supervisor will be responsible for a caseload of up to 12 students across different classes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Utilize and advance knowledge of Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) and/or Verbal Behaviour (VB) methodologies.
2. Ensure that the educational ethos aligns with the established aims, principles of learning, and equal opportunity policies, thereby promoting the overall progress and well-being of each student.
Leadership and Management:
Provide guidance and support to the team and students.
Professional Development:
Engage in continuous learning and improvement within the field.
Qualifications:
- Hold a Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or a related field (or be in the process of obtaining one).
- Demonstrated successful experience in a specialized educational setting for Autism.
