About the Role

Hays Senior Finance is supporting a leading food manufacturing business in Evesham with the recruitment of a Commercial Management Accountant on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present monthly management reports with supporting analysis to drive business performance
  • Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accurate financial records
  • Collaborate with internal departments to optimize financial performance and drive business growth
  • Analyze production activity and performance to inform business decisions
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process to ensure accurate financial planning
  • Manage cash flow and monitor costs to ensure efficient financial operations
  • Own the product costing process and support new product development
  • Monitor costs, variances, supply chain costs, and G&A costs to ensure financial efficiency

Requirements

  • Qualified or part-qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA) or QBE
  • Experience in managing day-to-day processes and ensuring relevant controls are in place
  • Manufacturing background and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Commercially minded with the confidence to challenge the status quo
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build excellent relationships
  • Highly proficient in Excel and data analysis/manipulation
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP an advantage)

What You'll Get
