About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Head of Digital Investment to join Omnicom Media Group as a key member of our team. In this newly created role, you will report directly to our agency's Head of Investment and collaborate closely with other activation leads, including the Head of AV, Head of Programmatic, Head of Digital Operations, and our Commercial Director.
As the Head of Digital Investment, you will be responsible for leading the investment approach of all digital team outputs, with a focus on forecasting and delivering both client and agency targets. You will have extensive experience in key digital channels, including Display, Video, Programmatic, and Paid Social. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving effective working processes and creating impact for both Omnicom Media Group's commercial growth and our clients' success.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with investment leads and digital integration directors to develop our activation approach, addressing transparency, setting brand safety standards, and optimizing media performance.
- Collaborate with all activation teams (Social, Programmatic, other digital, AV, Publishing, and OOH) to deliver best-in-class campaigns that adhere to our best practices.
- Partner with Connections Planning to ensure strategic approaches to digital are aligned with client and agency ambitions.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and shifts in consumer behavior, maintaining a market-leading knowledge of the entire media landscape.
- Develop and implement approved supplier processes, ensuring all digital staff are inducted and the process is adhered to.
- Understand and develop trading deals across all digital channels, working with the investment and trading teams to maximize potential for our clients.
- Lead the digital teams to deliver all accountability and client requirements from a target, value, and commercial perspective.
- Be responsible for all agency digital deal tracking and delivery for both agency and group priorities.
- Ensure best practice finance processes are in place, including timesheets, billing, and invoice queries, to reduce aged debt, unbilled, and late bookings. Support the leadership team and finance on client forecasts, activity trackers, and finance queries.
- Create and implement best practices, inductions, P&L targets across Omnicom Media Group across all digital channels.
