About Your Role:

As a vital member of the Geospatial Engineering team, you will focus on the integration of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to support the specification, development, and delivery of large-scale complex solutions. You will lead initiatives as part of a DevSecOps team, providing third-line support and enhancements for various GIS Software Services, alongside maintaining industry-leading Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a Geospatial Subject Matter Expert (SME), leading efforts within an Agile team.
  • Establish rapport and credibility with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure project delivery aligns with company standards of conduct.
  • Provide governance through the creation of comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with project team members to ensure timely delivery and high-quality solutions.

Your Experience - Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing geospatial solutions, adhering to established standards and tools.
  • Extensive knowledge of geospatial concepts, offering subject matter expertise within a team or project.
  • Proficient in deploying and supporting enterprise GIS Systems, preferably Esri ArcGIS Enterprise.
  • Understanding of Data Management principles to optimize organizational use and visualization of mapping services.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure in AWS, including automated deployments (IaaC, Serverless).
  • Desirable: Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java.
