Travel: Occasional travel within the UK is necessary for team and client engagements.

About Your Role:

As a pivotal member of the Geospatial Engineering division, you will concentrate on the integration of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to facilitate the specification, development, and execution of intricate solutions. You will lead initiatives within a DevSecOps team, providing third-line support and enhancements for various GIS Software Services, alongside maintaining industry-leading Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a Geospatial Subject Matter Expert (SME), leading efforts within an Agile team.
  • Establish strong relationships and credibility with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure project delivery aligns with company standards and ethical guidelines.
  • Provide governance through the development of technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with project team members to ensure timely delivery and high-quality solutions.

Your Experience - Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing geospatial solutions, adhering to established standards and tools.
  • Extensive knowledge of Geospatial principles, offering subject matter expertise within a team or project context.
  • Significant experience in deploying and supporting enterprise GIS Systems, particularly Esri ArcGIS Enterprise.
  • Understanding of Data Management principles to optimize organizational use and visualization of mapping services.
  • Experience utilizing cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS, with a focus on automated deployments (IaaC, Serverless).
  • Desirable: Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java.
