About Your Role:

As a pivotal member of the Geospatial Engineering team, you will focus on the integration of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to assist in the specification, development, and delivery of large-scale complex solutions. You will lead initiatives within a DevSecOps team, providing third-line support and enhancements for various GIS Software Services, alongside maintaining industry-leading Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a Geospatial Subject Matter Expert (SME), leading efforts within an Agile team.
  • Establish strong relationships and credibility with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure project delivery aligns with company standards and ethical conduct.
  • Provide governance through the development of technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with project team members to ensure timely delivery and quality of solutions.

Your Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing geospatial solutions, adhering to established standards and tools.
  • Extensive knowledge of Geospatial principles, offering subject matter expertise within a team or project.
  • Significant experience in deploying and supporting enterprise GIS Systems, preferably Esri ArcGIS Enterprise.
  • Understanding of Data Management principles to optimize the organization and visualization of mapping services.
  • Experience utilizing cloud infrastructure within AWS, including Automated deployments (IaaC, Serverless).
  • Desirable: Proficiency in one of the following programming languages: Python, JavaScript, or Java.
