Location: London & Cheltenham (Onsite)

Duration: 6 Months (Long term project, extensions very likely)

Clearances: Active DV Clearance Required

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Java Engineer to join our team at Identify Solutions on a contract basis. As a Java Engineer, you will be part of an on-site team responsible for maintaining and supporting a managed cross-domain service utilizing diverse technologies, platforms, and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot and microservice architecture
  • Collaborate with the team to design and implement site reliability engineering tools and practices
  • Work with Terraform and Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the service on OpenShift or Kubernetes
  • Support the team in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservice development
  • Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, and containerization using OpenShift or Kubernetes
  • Experience with RDBMS platforms, such as Oracle
  • Active DV Clearance
