Position Overview

We are in search of a passionate and skilled Psychology Instructor to enhance our vibrant department within a well-regarded secondary school. This role is crucial in guiding students through their psychological studies at both KS4 and KS5 levels, fostering a deep understanding of the subject.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering engaging and thought-provoking psychology lessons to students at KS4 and KS5
  • Designing and executing effective teaching methodologies that align with the school's educational framework
  • Evaluating student performance and providing constructive feedback to promote academic growth
  • Working collaboratively with fellow educators to cultivate a nurturing and dynamic learning atmosphere
  • Participating in ongoing professional development initiatives within the department

Qualifications and Skills

  • Degree in Psychology
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching psychology at KS4 and KS5
  • In-depth knowledge of contemporary psychological theories and practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • A genuine passion for motivating and inspiring students
