Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Psychology Educator to become part of our vibrant department at a well-regarded secondary school. In this role, you will be instrumental in guiding students through their understanding of psychology at both KS4 and KS5 levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering captivating and thought-provoking psychology lessons to students at KS4 and KS5
  • Designing and executing effective teaching methodologies that align with the institution's curriculum and assessment standards
  • Evaluating student performance and providing tailored feedback to enhance their educational experience
  • Working collaboratively with fellow educators to foster a nurturing and engaging learning atmosphere
  • Participating in ongoing professional development initiatives within the department

Qualifications and Skills

  • Degree in Psychology
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching psychology at KS4 and KS5
  • Strong grasp of contemporary psychological theories and practices
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Passion for motivating and inspiring students
