Job Summary:

MAN Commercial Protection is seeking a highly skilled CCTV Control Room Operator to join our team. As a CCTV Control Room Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling CCTV cameras across the West Midlands region.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Camera Monitoring: Conduct regular patrols of CCTV cameras to ensure optimal coverage and detect any potential security threats.
  • Incident Response: Respond to emergency situations by communicating with emergency services and providing critical information to aid in incident resolution.
  • Footage Analysis: Search and retrieve CCTV footage to support police investigations and provide valuable evidence.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with local authorities, emergency services, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless incident response.
  • Alarm Management: Respond to alarm calls and investigate incidents to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other security personnel to ensure a unified approach to security operations.

Requirements:

  • CCTV Badge: Possess a valid CCTV badge and be willing to maintain it.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • IT Skills: Proficient in using Microsoft products and other relevant software.
  • Teamwork: Possess strong teamwork skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Initiative: Demonstrate the ability to work independently and take initiative when necessary.
