About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Counsellor to join our team as a Counsellor on Placement. As a Counsellor on Placement, you will provide emotional and therapeutic support to children and young people aged 4-18 in our partner schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one counselling to up to 3 children per day, with a minimum of one day per week.
  • Work in a therapeutic capacity, offering emotional support and guidance to children and young people.
  • Participate in regular supervision and training workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of our services and programmes, ensuring they meet the needs of our clients.
  • Collaborate with our team to provide a high-quality service, promoting the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people.
About You

We are looking for a qualified Counsellor who is passionate about working with children and young people. You will have a Diploma in Counselling (Level 4 or above) or a Degree, MSc or MA in Counselling, Counselling Psychology or Psychotherapy. You will also have relevant experience of direct work with children.
