About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Counsellor to join our team as a Counsellor on Placement. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working with children and young people in a therapeutic setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide emotional and therapeutic support to children and young people aged 4-18 in our partner schools.
  • Work in a therapeutic capacity with up to 3 children offering one-to-one counselling.
  • Participate in regular supervision and tailored training workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of our clinical team and help us deliver high-quality services to our clients.

About You

We are looking for a fully qualified Counsellor, Therapist, or Clinical Psychologist who is passionate about working with children and young people. You will have a strong understanding of the therapeutic needs of this age group and be able to provide a safe and supportive environment for them to express themselves.

Requirements

  • Hold a Diploma in Counselling (Level 4 or above) or a Degree, MSc, or MA in Counselling, Counselling Psychology, or Psychotherapy.
  • Have relevant experience of direct work with children and young people.
  • Be available for a minimum of one day per week to work in a therapeutic capacity.
