We are seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join our team at Academics, working with students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

About the Role

The Behaviour Mentor will work 1:1 and with small groups of pupils with challenging behavioural needs, building positive relationships to encourage positive choices and supporting students in learning to regulate their emotions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and de-escalate behaviour
  • Build students' self-esteem and facilitate learning
  • Work with students aged 8-18, from KS2 to KS5
Requirements

The successful Behaviour Mentor will be responsible for managing and de-escalating behaviour, whilst helping to build the students' self-esteem and facilitate learning.

This is a full-time long-term position, working in a positive and nurturing environment that utilises therapeutic interventions to help each child fulfil their potential and overcome challenges.
