CCTV Surveillance Operator for Public Spaces

We are currently seeking a Public Safety CCTV Monitoring Specialist to collaborate with various partners, including law enforcement and investigative agencies, to ensure community safety. Your role will involve real-time monitoring of CCTV feeds, assisting officers in the field, and securing crucial evidence.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and reporting suspicious activities.
  • Operating surveillance equipment to capture high-quality images.
  • Documenting incidents through detailed reports and witness statements.
  • Providing testimony in court to support CCTV evidence.

Effective communication with both internal and external agencies is essential, as you will liaise with organizations such as the National Crime Agency and the Department for Work and Pensions.

Training and Requirements:

Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you are well-prepared for the role. Flexibility is crucial, as the position requires working various shifts, including evenings and weekends. A full UK driving license is necessary, along with strong customer service skills and report-writing abilities. An SIA Frontline Public Space Surveillance license is also required.
