Contracted Hours: 4 on 4 off days and nights, average 42 hours per week

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled CCTV Security Specialist to join our team at UniTrust. As a CCTV Security Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring access control, CCTV, fire detection alarm systems, and providing effective reporting to the wider security team and relevant third-party stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working within a busy control room environment, monitoring access control, CCTV, fire detection alarm systems, and providing effective reporting to the wider security team and relevant third-party stakeholders.
  • Providing a highly visible proactive security approach with emphasis on access and egress controls.
  • Operating internal/external security CCTV systems regularly, ensuring familiarity with site layout, building, and GDPR processes.
  • Upkeep of key asset tracking and other administrative tasks pertaining to the security control room and workload activities - archiving daily paperwork, clear report writing, ID card management, IT movement, records, etc.
  • Providing a customer-focused service, always maintaining a professional and courteous manner towards the public, the client, residents, and colleagues.
  • Complying with all GDPR procedures and processes.
  • Ensuring the health and safety of staff and visitors as per safety file, responding to all emergencies in accordance with Control Room procedures.
  • Playing an integral role in any emergency including evacuation, dealing with antisocial behaviour, and first aid incidents (or assistance to trained first-aiders).
  • Preventing loss, damage, and theft of assets by carrying out regular camera patrols.

Requirements:

  • Valid SIA SG/DS license
  • CCTV license
  • Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure
  • Surveillance and access control system knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Computer literate and confident with the use of Microsoft Office programmes
  • Demonstrate an awareness of security threats which remain relevant and up to date in the context of the current environment
  • Flexibility regarding working practices, hours, and responsibilities.
  • Enhanced communication, listening, and customer service skills
  • First Aid at work or the ability to train and retain this qualification if required
  • Operation of CCTV/access control (specifically C-Cure) communications in an appropriate professional manner
  • A keen eye for detail is desired
