Position: CCTV Surveillance Operator for Public Safety

We are currently seeking a Public Space Surveillance Operator to collaborate with various partners, including law enforcement and investigative agencies, to ensure the safety of our communities. This role involves monitoring live CCTV feeds, directing officers to incidents, and securing vital evidence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, report, and document any suspicious activities.
  • Operate surveillance cameras and equipment to capture high-quality evidential images.
  • Prepare detailed reports or witness statements and provide testimony in court to support CCTV footage.
  • Engage confidently with both internal and external agencies.

Comprehensive training will be provided to equip you for success in this role. Flexibility is essential, as the position requires working various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Requirements:

  • Full manual UK driving licence.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to write clear and concise reports.
  • SIA Frontline Public Space Surveillance licence.
