Regional Account Executive - Sports & Fitness

Red Bull is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Account Executive to join our team in the North East, UK. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with independent and small chain gyms in your region, ensuring Red Bull is available and visible in key locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a regional strategy to grow distribution in fitness outlets, aligning with the sports strategy set by the National Sales Manager.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers at gyms, franchises, and operating groups, identifying opportunities to drive availability and visibility of Red Bull.
  • Manage multiple operating groups and franchise groups, creating joint business plans to unlock new distribution and optimize contact matrices.
  • Utilize your knowledge of the fitness industry to create brand awareness and education among gym staff and customers, turning them into brand advocates.
  • Collaborate with the shopper team, brand team, and field marketing team to implement regional activations and drive sales.
Requirements:
  • Passion and experience in the fitness industry, with a deep understanding of the type of venues you'll be working with.
  • Track record in achieving targets and a strong ability to build and present a compelling story with insight and commercial awareness.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and objection handling skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with intermediate skills across Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel 80-90% of the time.
