Position Summary: We are seeking a strategic and commercially-minded Senior Vice President of Financial Strategy to lead the organization through a significant growth phase and transformation, ultimately aiming for a successful exit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the CEO and senior leadership to enhance the finance function, focusing on system improvements and driving operational efficiencies.
  • Oversee the commercial operations, providing critical insights through performance analysis, forecasting, and comprehensive reporting.
  • Develop and maintain strong external relationships with financial institutions, creditors, and other key stakeholders through proactive engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA), ideally Chartered, with a proven history of operating at the board level as a CFO in a transformation setting.
  • Experience in Private Equity-backed environments, particularly within sectors such as B2B, technology solutions, manufacturing, industrial services, building services, construction, and facilities management.
  • Demonstrated success in optimizing financial functions, enhancing profitability, and managing work in progress.

Skills:

  • Proven ability to oversee daily operational finance and contribute to both commercial and financial growth.
  • Strong relationship management skills with banks, debtors, and creditors.
  • Collaborative mindset to work effectively with the executive team in shaping the strategic direction of the business.
