Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Equities Strategy Manager to join our Investment Management team in London.

The successful candidate will support the Head of Equities in executing strategic and tactical plans focused on investment performance and commercial growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Strategic Plans
    • Conduct thorough analysis of industry trends, competitive landscape, and internal capabilities.
    • Assist the Head of Equities in aligning Jupiter's equity business with expectations of current and future client growth through analysis and research.
    • Broad initiatives may include market and profitability analyses linked to product curation, research on thought pieces, and ESG initiatives.
  • Support Investment Performance
    • Support the Head of Equities to ensure there is a strong understanding among stakeholders regarding investment performance, product priorities, assessment of business opportunities, pricing, and communication.
    • Support the Head of Equities in the communication of investment priorities and initiatives across Equities and other areas in the business.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders
    • Work closely and collaboratively with key stakeholders, including the Investment COO team, to develop and execute clear plans of action for addressing business issues.
    • Act as a key point of contact in coordinating activities of the equities teams with other areas of the business.
  • Ensure Effective Communication
    • Ensure efficient and effective communication and prioritization between the various internal stakeholders.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Strong understanding of the Asset Management industry, client trends, competitor landscape, regulatory and operational frameworks, and familiarity with and interest in the investment landscape.
  • Strong technical understanding of investing and the investment landscape.
  • Exceptionally strong analytical ability, numerate, and highly data-driven.
  • Initiative – able to take decisions and proactively solve problems rather than needing instruction.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Solutions-focused – able to solve problems and overcome obstacles.
  • Resilient – able to cope in a fast-moving and challenging environment.
