Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Equities Strategy Manager to join our Investment Management department in London. The successful candidate will support the Head of Equities in executing strategic and tactical plans focused on investment performance and commercial growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Strategic Plans: Collaborate with the Head of Equities to develop a strategic plan focused on investment performance and commercial growth, working closely with key stakeholders in execution.
  • Conduct Industry Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of industry trends, competitive landscape, and internal capabilities to inform investment decisions.
  • Align Business with Client Growth: Assist the Head of Equities in aligning Jupiter's equity business with expectations of current and future client growth through analysis and research.
  • Develop Marketing Collateral: Help build coherent equity platform marketing collateral to articulate Jupiter's equities offering to external and internal stakeholders.
  • Communicate Investment Priorities: Support the Head of Equities in communicating investment priorities and initiatives across Equities and other areas of the business.
  • Coordinate Business Activities: Act as a key point of contact in coordinating activities of the equities teams with other areas of the business.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely and collaboratively with the Investment COO team, including the investment management change programme, regulatory and controls environment, data science, and trading teams.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Strong Industry Knowledge: A strong understanding of the Asset Management industry, client trends, competitor landscape, regulatory and operational frameworks, and familiarity with the investment landscape.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong technical understanding of investing and the investment landscape.
  • Analytical Ability: Exceptionally strong analytical ability, numerate, and highly data-driven.
  • Initiative and Problem-Solving: Initiative – able to take decisions and proactively solve problems rather than needing instruction.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well as part of a team and collaboratively across the business.
