Job Title: Equity L/S Portfolio Manager - Consumer Equities

About Upward Trend:

Upward Trend is a global multimanager Hedge Fund seeking a Portfolio Manager with a background in Consumer Equities to join its team in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Portfolio Manager to lead our Consumer Equities Long/Short strategy. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of running a Consumer-focused Equity L/S strategy and a strong understanding of the consumer goods and services sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a Consumer Equities Long/Short strategy that delivers strong returns and minimizes risk
  • Lead a team of analysts and researchers to identify and analyze investment opportunities in the consumer goods and services sector
  • Collaborate with other portfolio managers and investment teams to share knowledge and best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and developments in the consumer goods and services sector

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proven track record of running a Consumer-focused Equity L/S strategy
  • Strong understanding of the consumer goods and services sector
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
