Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Optimization: Collaborate in the design and enhancement of new and existing processes to improve time management efficiency.
  • Data Analysis: Identify challenges, generate and evaluate data to propose sound decisions. Document solutions and escalate critical issues to senior procurement staff.
  • Service Level Management: Ensure that service level objectives such as fill rate and availability are consistently achieved.
  • Inventory Oversight: Effectively oversee all purchasing and operational facets of inventory management.
  • Supplier Relations: Establish and nurture productive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Order Tracking: Monitor the shipment of purchase orders and take necessary actions in the event of unexpected delays.
  • Data Management: Manage the flow of information throughout each phase of a purchase order, including confirmation, estimated shipping dates, and ASN updates. Provide timely updates on any changes to delivery schedules.
  • Delivery Improvement: Review and enhance delivery timelines to prevent shortages and predict stock-outs.
  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Engage in PPI initiatives to identify enhancements and cost-saving opportunities, and recommend improvements for reports and processes.
  • Issue Resolution: Manage the resolution of delivery discrepancies from suppliers, including short, over, or incorrect products, in coordination with various warehouses.
  • Data Accuracy: Contribute to maintaining accurate data within the system and raise tickets as necessary.
  • Customer Service Support: Maintain a high standard of internal customer service, assisting customer service and other business functions as needed.
  • Supplier Performance Management: Drive improvements in supplier performance using metrics, and conduct weekly performance review calls with suppliers to implement corrective action plans.
  • Negotiation Autonomy: Operate independently in supplier relationships, particularly in negotiations regarding lead times, performance evaluations, stock returns, and direct shipment requests.
  • Proactive Contributions: Actively contribute to enhancing supplier performance reports.
  • Team Development: Participate in the training and onboarding of new team members.
