Job Title: Children Home Manager

At Bright Healthcare Services Ltd, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Children Home Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of care and support to children and young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the Home meets the regulations set by the Regulatory Body and delivers services in line with the Children's Home Regulations.
  • Take full responsibility for the management of the Home and provide leadership to the care team.
  • Work with the Operations team to ensure that staffing meets the standards and levels as set out in the Home's Statement of Purpose.
  • Ensure that all staff complete a full induction and provide regular supervision and annual appraisals.
  • Contribute to the process of assessment of referrals and work with the care team to coordinate admissions of suitable children and young people to the Home.
  • Ensure that all relevant personal/pathway/placement plans for children and young people are in place, accurate, and up to date.
  • Support Key Worker Responsibilities for children and young people.
  • Ensure effective and timely contact and communication with external agencies and relatives.
  • Monitor the progress of children and young people's personal/pathway/placement plans and offer advice, support, and consultation.
  • Undertake regular reviews of the service provided to children and young people and take steps to represent their interests.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience in a position relevant to the residential care of children.
  • Experience at management level in a residential setting.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent qualification.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • A competitive salary of £55,000.00-£65,000.00 per year.
