Job Summary

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled and organized Housing Business Operations Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis. As a key member of the team, you will provide exceptional administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of housing management functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Provide proactive and high-quality administrative support to all teams, including responding to internal and external communications, acting as the first point of contact for general and tenant enquiries, and creating and updating housing register applications.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Develop strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external customers, handle enquiries, and resolve problems.
  • Data Processing and Management: Process data related to housing management functions, including scanning, indexing, and distributing housing-related documents.
  • Stationery and Supplies Management: Monitor and order stationery and cleaning supplies for Supported Housing stock.

Requirements

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office packages and experience in administrative support and data processing.
  • Soft Skills: Strong initiative, problem-solving skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Ability to work both independently and within a team, with a flexible approach to adapt to changing priorities.

What We Offer

  • Temporary Assignment: 3-month assignment with room for extension.
  • Competitive Hourly Rate: £12.18 per hour.
  • Flexible Working Arrangements: 30 hours per week over 4 days, with a hybrid working model after initial office-based training (1-2 days in the office).
