About the Role: Hays Business Support is collaborating with a regional organization seeking a seasoned Credit Control Specialist to join their finance team, reporting directly to the Credit Manager.

Key Responsibilities: This position requires close interaction with internal departments to optimize sales and cash inflows while minimizing credit exposure and bad debts. You will utilize your expertise and the capabilities of SAP to:

  • Manage cash collections for a Corporate International ledger comprising over 150 clients with significant accounts receivable.
  • Open new accounts within established service level agreements.
  • Conduct credit evaluations using reports from credit reference agencies, credit insurers, and financial statements from Companies House.
  • Review and approve credit limits for both new and existing clients.
  • Oversee cash allocation and perform account reconciliations.
  • Engage in weekly discussions with corporate account managers to assess account conditions.

What You Will Need: The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in credit control, with a minimum of three years of experience managing accounts for corporate entities. Familiarity with SAP is advantageous, alongside a stable career trajectory. Experience handling multi-currency accounts and exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
