Deaf Children Specialist Therapist

Pulse Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in delivering specialist therapy services to deaf children in pre-school centres and primary schools.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, treat, and manage children and young people with associated syndromes or special educational needs in addition to their deafness.
- Organize and manage your own caseload, building and maintaining strong relationships within the schools.
- Induct, supervise, support, and direct less experienced SLTs, as well as train students.
- Initiate and undertake research, clinical governance, and audit projects.
- Sponsorship to achieve qualifications in British Sign Language up to Level 2.
- 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
- Hybrid working model.
- Monthly and annual staff recognition schemes.
- Completed certification in BSL (British Sign Language) Level 2 or be willing to train to this level, funded.
- Experience in the assessment, differential diagnosis, and treatment of Deaf children who present with a range of speech, language, and communication difficulties.
