**Seeking a qualified and experience CBT therapist**

**Hours**: One day a week, up to 4 hours

**Start date**: As soon as possible

**Role**:
TulipCare provides care and education for young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

We are looking for an experienced therapist who is able to provide therapeutic sessions to the young people we care for. You will hold a caseload of up to 5 young people, working closely in an incredibly supportive and passionate group of colleagues for a reputable care provider. You will work alongside the home's manager and the rest of the care team to provide part of a therapeutic care package to looked after children with complex social, emotional and mental health needs.

**Requirements**:
As a Therapist you will be accredited and hold a registration with a relevant professional body (e.g. BACP, BPS, HCPC or UKCP)

Hold the valid and relevant qualification

You will have experience working with young people in particular young people with social, emotional and mental health needs.

Trauma informed training, experience of working with complex cases, such as eating disorders, children who present with high risk behaviours and have poor attachments styles and severe behaviour needs.

The ability to build relationships with hard-to-reach young people

CBT training - Required

The ability to maintain detailed records through the use of various IT platforms

Experience managing complex caseloads and liaising with MDTs

Enhanced DBS check - can be completed by TulipCare if needed

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £35.00-£50.00 per hour

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (required)

**Experience**:

- Working with children: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- registration with a relevant professional body (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

- Ilford: Relocate before starting work (required)
