About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef De Partie to join our dynamic production kitchen team at DO & CO. As a key member of our culinary brigade, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional quality and service to our discerning passengers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of a section within our busy production kitchen, ensuring seamless execution of menu items and exceptional presentation.
  • Prepare and cook dishes with pride, adhering to exacting standards and specifications.
  • Work closely with the kitchen brigade, maintaining a positive and inclusive team environment that fosters collaboration and open communication.
  • Utilize your culinary expertise to ensure the highest quality levels are consistently maintained, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Partner with the Sous Chefs to support kitchen management, providing guidance and expertise as needed.
  • Delegate responsibilities to Kitchen Helpers, providing mentorship and development opportunities to enhance their skills and confidence.
  • Play an active role in maintaining a high level of kitchen hygiene, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Chef De Partie working on multiple sections, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results.
  • Impressive knife skills and a deep understanding of culinary techniques.
  • Airline catering experience is highly desirable, although not essential.
  • Confident working in fast-paced, dynamic environments with a strong ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Ambitious and motivated individual with a passion for delivering high-quality dishes and exceptional customer service.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, with excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility regarding work availability, with a willingness to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
  • Right to work in the UK.
