Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Ensure that all food safety and hygiene protocols are followed at all times, including maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Culinary Expertise: Prepare and plate all food items as per agreed menu specifications, using your impressive knife skills and culinary knowledge to deliver exceptional results.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain expiry/use by dates of all food items, ensuring that all items offered to passengers are well within expiry.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the stewarding staff to maintain kitchen cleanliness and ensure that all aspects of food hygiene are a top priority.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with the service team to ensure that all food items are prepared and presented to the highest standards.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Chef De Partie working on multiple sections, with a strong background in airline catering.
  • Culinary Skills: Impressive knife skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced culinary environment.
  • Teamwork: Confident working in a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility in regards to work availability, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Language: Able to communicate effectively in English.
