About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef De Partie to join our team at DO & CO, a leading luxury airline catering company. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and plating high-quality food items for our discerning passengers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and plate all food items according to agreed menu specifications
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times
  • Monitor and maintain expiry/use by dates of all food items
  • Requisition food and beverages effectively to avoid wastage
  • Work collaboratively with the stewarding staff to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Communicate effectively with the service team regarding unavailable menu items
  • Play an active role in maintaining a high level of kitchen hygiene

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Chef De Partie working on multiple sections
  • Impressive knife skills
  • Airline catering experience is desirable but not essential
  • Confident working in busy, fast-paced culinary environments
  • Able to communicate effectively in English
  • Confident working in a team
  • Flexibility regarding work availability is essential
  • Right to work in the UK
