Job Title: Lounge Chef De Partie

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lounge Chef De Partie to join our team at DO & CO Airline Catering. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and plating high-quality food items for our lounge guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and plate all food items as per agreed menu specifications, ensuring high-quality presentation and flavor.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Ensure that all kitchen equipment is used as per Standard Operating Procedures and agreed specifications, and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain expiry/use by dates of all food items, and ensure that all items offered to passengers are well within expiry.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise the Commis and Kitchen Stewards, and provide guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Chef De Partie working on multiple sections, with a strong background in airline catering.
  • Skills: Impressive knife skills, confident working in busy, fast-paced culinary environments, and ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Qualifications: Right to work in the UK, and flexibility in regards to work availability.
