Hotel Receptionist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Hotel Receptionist to join our team at Kimpton Fitzroy London. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing a warm and welcoming experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage the front desk operations, including checking-in and checking-out guests, handling room assignments, and processing payments.
  • Work closely with the Front Office Manager to ensure seamless operations and maintain high standards of service.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the hotel's facilities, services, and local area to provide guests with accurate information and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient guest experience.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Opera, Delphi, and Microsoft Office, with knowledge of Quore a plus.
  • Ability to work a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
